Directions to Cartwheel Arts
From M62
Leave M62 at J19 and head towards Heywood.
Turn left at the mini roundabout by the Texaco garage.  At the top turn right into Manchester Rd, which becomes Manchester St. After half a mile you will see the Navigation Inn on the right. Take the next right turn after the pub and car park, and park in the said car park. We are in the rank of shops opposite.From Rochdale via A58
A58 from Rochdale towards Bury. 
As you drop down the hill towards Heywood on Rochdale Rd East you fork left into Rochdale Rd.  At the top, turn left into Manchester St. After about half a mile you will see a rank of shops on the right with a Totesport bookies (green sign) on the corner.  Turn left opposite Totesport and park in the car park.  Cartwheel is next to the bookies. If you pass the Navigation Inn on your left you have gone too far.

Public transport:
163 FIrstbus from Manchester to Bury passes the shop. 471 Firstbus goes from Rochdale, picking up at railway station, to Bolton via Heywood – alight at Library, 10 minute walk back to the shop.

FROM M66

Leave the M66 at Junction 2; take the A58 Rochdale exit from the roundabout.   Turn second right by the Texaco Garage onto Heap Brow.   Follow Heap Brow to the top of the hill then take the left turn onto Bury Old Road.

Continue up Bury Old Road passing a farm on left hand side, take the next right hand turn onto Sutherland Road (there is a Primary School on the corner).   Heywood Community High School is on your right hand side opposite the end of Argyle Street.

FROM HEYWOOD

Take the A58 to Bury through Heywood town centre, through the lights at Pilsworth Rd and up the hill.  After half a mile fork left into Bury Old Rd.  Continue along Bury Old Rd over the brow of the hill and Sutherland Rd is on your left.

TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The 163 bus from the centre of Manchester will take you right past the school gates, it takes 45 minutes from Manchester to the festival site.
