Invitation for Creative Proposals for Rochdale Borough Sport and Culture Awards

Link4Life, on behalf of Rochdale Borough Culture Network are inviting proposals from artists and arts organisations to develop an opening performance for the annual Rochdale Borough Sports and Culture Awards.

The Rochdale Borough Sports and Culture Awards take place at Middleton Arena on Wednesday 11th September 2019. The ceremony, which is hosted by Sue Devaney, shines a light on exemplary sporting and cultural achievement across the Borough. There are a total of 16 categories presented to an audience which includes nominees, dignitaries and sponsors.

Proposals are requested from artists or organisations living and/or working in Rochdale Borough for an opening act to be performed at the annual Rochdale Borough Sports and Culture Awards. The performance will be 3 minutes in length and must be of sufficiently high quality and production values to represent the ‘best’ of Rochdale on stage.

Fee:  £1,500(inc VAT). Applicants will have access to standard stage, equipment and technical support at Middleton Arena however costs of hiring additional equipment or staffing must be met by the bidder.
