Tell Us Another One Phase One was a 3-year adventure in storytelling and creative writing which ran in Darnhill (Heywood), Langley (Middleton) and Spotland and Deeplish (Rochdale) areas. 

We ran Story Groups in each of the above areas for adults aged 18+ to have a go at storytelling, writing activities and workshops, meet writers and poets and, most importantly, have loads of fun!

We are delighted that Big Lottery Fund and Arts Council England have provided the funding for a second phase of Tell Us Another One. Unfortunately there was quite a delay in putting the funding package together, and this means that we have had to say goodbye to our brilliant project co-ordinator Kim Haygarth, who did a fantastic job on the project.

The good news is that we will shortly be appointing two new team members to deliver the expansion of the project. So these are exciting times!

Write Out Loud continue with their much-loved monthly poetry open mic night at The Olde Boar’s Head pub in Middleton, on the last Sunday of every month. Please see our home page for details.
