Tell Us Another One was a 3-year adventure in storytelling and creative writing which ran in Darnhill (Heywood), Langley (Middleton) and Spotland and Deeplish (Rochdale) areas. 

We ran Story Groups in each of the above areas for adults aged 18+ to have a go at storytelling, writing activities and workshops, meet writers and poets and, most importantly, have loads of fun!

We are very sad that the 3 year Big Lottery funding for Tell Us Another One finished this year, and that they turned down our application to fund a second phase of the project. This means that we have had to say goodbye to our brilliant project co-ordinator Kim Haygarth, who did a fantastic job on the project. We are hoping to secure more funding for the project in the future to bring it out of hibernation and will keep you posted on our progress!

Write Out Loud continue with their much-loved monthly poetry open mic night at The Olde Boar’s Head pub in Middleton, on the last Sunday of every month. Please see our home page for details.
