Artists Emerging
This is a three year project to provide training and support for prospective artists from BME backgrounds, especially the south Asian communities of Rochdale and neighbouring boroughs who have the artistic skills but lack the confidence and planning knowledge to be able to launch themselves as professional artists. The project will involve up to 16 artists each year in a thorough training programme to develop their self-management and presentation skills, followed by a series of arts workshops which they will be required to plan and deliver.
