Abi Rogers

Abi is an artist, Support Worker and Art Therapist, registered with both the HCPC and BAAT. She has over 18 years of experience working in a variety of settings such as schools, secure hospitals and within the community, providing emotional support and wellbeing focused workshops to children, adults and the elderly.

Her flair for the creative arts, and her knowledge and hands-on experience of mental health issues and learning disabilities in the workplace, mean that the practice of art therapy is well-suited to Abi’s approach when working with people, as she is able to remain grounded, open and honest within the therapeutic relationship, and share her enthusiasm and skills of art-making with her clients so that they may grow and develop.

Creative Christmas packs

Following the success of the Get Creative Inside! packs earlier in the year, the Darnhill Festival Association commissioned us to develop a Christmas Creative pack for 1,100 primary school children on the Darnhill estate. You can download your pack here

Darnhill Festival 2018: the natural festival

2018 - Darnhill Festival
Darnhill Festival 2018 took place on Saturday 7th July in and around Argyle Parade. This was the 15th consecutive summer festival organised by Cartwheel Arts on behalf of Darnhill Festival Association.

Wellbeing Dominoes
Wellbeing Dominoes is a resource, designed to support and enhance Wellbeing through creative activity and group work. “very accessible and thought provoking”

Stepping Stones
Is this the new normal? Our first steps back to face to face working are taking place in our new marquee. It’s pitched in the grounds of one of Blue Pits housing association houses and has offered closed sessions for residents. But it’s a start!

Postal Projects
Creative activities and materials sent direct to your door with complimentary wellbeing phone calls to re-create our Art for Wellbeing projects at home... "a fun and challenging art project that's different every week".

Creative Christmas
Working in partnership with the Darnhill Festival Association, we developed a Creative Christmas pack full of festive activities for young people to try over the school holidays. The packs contain 16 activities and all the materials needed to make them.
