Allanah Ashdown

Allanah began work with Cartwheel Arts in 2016, as project coordinator for 100 Moments.  100 Moments is the launch project for Live Well Make Art, a social movement across Greater Manchester promoting and fostering the benefits of creativity and the arts for health and wellbeing. Allanah delievered a workshop at Cartwheel Arts 2016 conference, IMPACT: Led by You, ‘Self Scene’ was a creative writing workshop aimed to explore our views on the self.

Allanah also runs her business, Workshops for Women, which aims to encourage people to learn new skills and develop new ways of being that optimise wellbeing and promote success.

Workshops for Women facilitates personal and professional growth through bespoke workshops and events. Allanah specialises in workshops that develop women's confidence, assertiveness and self-esteem in the workplace as well as inspire younger girls to become more resilient and aim higher in their career and life goals.
