Michelle Green

From 2001 onwards Michelle Green took her poems around the UK, performing in slams, festivals, literature events and cabarets, collaborating with musicians, visual artists and other writers.

She won the North West Regional Slam in 2005, and the prize - publication of a chapbook with Crocus Books - became her collection of poems:  a translation of performance onto the page - Knee High Affairs. Her short story collection Jebel Marra, was published by Comma Press.

Michelle leads our Tell Us Another One Story Groups in Oldham at Fitton Hill Library ( meeting room), on the fourth Tuesday of the month 2pm-4pm, and LGBT writers on the third Thursday of the month, 7-9pm at Middleton Arena.
