Fitton Hill Creatives

During the summer holiday’s Tell Us Another One engaged with a group of young people in Fitton Hill, Oldham, working in partnership with Villages Housing and The Brew.

The project mixed creative disciplines; spoken word, songwriting, music producing, reporting, photography and film making and enabled the group to do a live performance at Fitton Hill Gala (approx. 200 attendees) and to produce a ten minute film to be previewed at The Brew, a local community café (61 attendees).

The artists involved were singer songwriter Claire Mooney, film maker Edwin Pink and writer Martin Stannage, they did a fantastic job in helping create some beautiful pieces and keeping the young people engaged.

In total thirty three young people from the estate were involved, aged from 5-25 years old and we had three local volunteers too who helped take registers, make tea’s and were generally very helpful.
