Becky Smyllie

Becky is a recent graduate of the Arts Management, Policy and Practice MA at the University of Manchester where she developed research in community arts, particularly in Manchester, and delivered live projects such as ‘Manchester Wakes’ at the Central Library. Becky practiced as an artist delivering creative workshops to local groups since finishing her BA in Embroidery and now has a keen focus on coordinating artistic projects. Previous work includes the 2016 Free For Arts Festival and a series of creative workshops with the community group ArtAnon.  She has current experience in the social care sector and a personal interest in developing the provision of arts activities within Mental Health services. She is extremely excited to be part of the Cartwheel Arts team and looks forward to the year ahead!
