Blackwheel was a project developed in partnership between Cartwheel Arts, Bright Books and Kashmiri Youth Project (KYP) with the aim of creating a short Graphic Novel that presents an alternative view of the types of characters, stories and environments popular comics and Graphic Novels can often portray.

The Links project explored diversity within the four townships which make up Rochdale borough, working with people from different backgrounds and professional writers to produce a fantastic book.

Cartwheel Arts promotes social inclusion, cohesion, diversity and regeneration through community participation in vibrant, innovative, high-quality arts projects. We use a wide range of media to respond to project opportunities and promote the development of the arts and examples of good practice across the North West.
