Art for Wellbeing Best Practice training

Who? These sessions are open to induvidual artists and organisations working within the community/ wellbeing / creative fields.  There are 4 free sessions open to Rochdale based artists/organisations and 2 sessions open to Greater Manchester based artists/organisations.

There are limited spaces on the sessions so sign up today!

What? Each session will begin with a grounding in Professional Practice followed by creative exercises and techniques exploring best practice themes.  Delivered in Cartwheel Arts inspiring Art for Wellbeing Studio in Rochdale by Art for Wellbeing practitioners Lisa Risbec and Suzie Poyser, you will leave with:

  • A strong understanding of the best practice theme and how it applies to your work
  • New creative exercises and ideas to implement in your practice
  • A deeper understanding of ‘wellbeing’ developed through work with Suzie who is a BACP registered Counsellor
  • Artistic ideas for engagement, evaluation and delivery, inspired by working with Lisa, an experienced artist and Art for Wellbeing Practitioner

Where? All sessions will be held at our inspiring Art for Wellbeing Studio, Dandelion Create, Oldham Road, Rochdale, OL16 5QY.  Parking is available at the rear of the building and the studio is easily accessible via public transport.

When?

13th September 10.00am -4.00pm - Wellbeing and Quality of Experience

20th September 10.00am -4.00pm - Communication and Collaboration

Please note: The September CPD days cost £150 per person, with a £10 discount when booking multiple places.

Cartwheel Arts have 2 programmes of CPD training coming up, providing you with creative methods to implement Best Practice.

CPD sessions will be delivered at our Art for Wellbeing Studio, Dandelion Create in August/September 2017
