MYRIAD Time to Reflect - group supervision opportunity

Are you a creative practitioner from the global majority?*

Do you work in community, participatory and/or mental health and wellbeing settings?

Would you like support with your own wellbeing and practice?

The MYRIAD project is a collaboration between NHS GM, the cultural sector and the Barings Foundation with the aim of developing broader access to culturally appropriate and community based mental health support. Our main route to doing this is by supporting practitioners with training, development, networking and with support for their wellbeing.

We recognise the complex nature of the work creative practitioners undertake and that supporting people to express themselves creatively often means supporting them with their mental health and wellbeing. We also know that many practitioners work in mental health settings and this is something we are keen to support.

TIME TO REFLECT is a group supervision offer for global majority creative practitioners. It will be led by Rafaela Nunes, a trained counsellor and psychotherapist who identifies as global majority and who specialises in working with the cultural sector. The sessions will be an opportunity for you to explore your experiences as a creative practitioner and to hear from others. The sessions will be a space for global majority creative practitioner to reflect, connect and process with others.

We are offering two cohorts of up to 12 practitioners. The first cohort will take place from 20th Feb to Aug 2024. The second cohort from September to April 2025.
