Creativity in Newbold

Over the summer months Newbold is getting creative in a series of workshops that are completely free to attend and open to all adults living in the area.

Working with a huge range of materials including inks, wire, wood, clay and nature itself, each week will have a different theme and technique to try. The aim of the workshops is to promote positive wellbeing through art-making with an Art for Wellbeing artist and an Emotional Support Worker, who will support the sessions. They work with everyone to build creative skills and help to develop a supportive group, where all are welcomed to make their art work.

Why Art for Wellbeing?

If you are interested in the arts, whether or not you feel you are 'good' at it, and you feel like you might benefit from meeting new people and having a weekly activity to enjoy, then these sessions are for you. These sessions are designed for every level of art-making and even if you're experienced there is always something to learn from those around you.
So, if you live in Newbold and are over 18, please get in touch with Cartwheel Arts to reserve a free space at these sessions this summer!

Let's get together, get creative and enhance our wellbeing.
