We’re cycling hundreds of miles to raise money for our creative projects in Rochdale.
Our intrepid cyclists Hebe, Molly and Elle are in training to tackle the challenging Tour De Manc on Sunday 5th May to raise money for our charity and our many projects working with the communities of Rochdale.
Hebe, Molly and Elle will cycle 225 miles between them to support Cartwheel Arts’ work and they’re aiming to raise £1000.
Cartwheel Arts is a charity, and we pride ourselves on delivering Art For A Reason.
Our creative projects focus on supporting health and well-being, strengthening communities, and developing life-long learning and skills with communities who experience poverty, racial inequalities and forced migration.
We work with all ages, from older adults to early years, children and families, and support young people to become local leaders.
We believe in the power of creativity to make the world a better place.

However, austerity and the cost-of-living crisis mean that money is shrinking, and we need to do more fundraising to make sure our valuable work continues to benefit the communities of Rochdale and beyond.”
“Since the pandemic, the needs of local communities, particularly around mental health and wellbeing, and those experiencing poverty have drastically increased. As such, we are doing more with less. We’ve got on our bikes to raise money and to ensure we can continue to work in partnership with local communities.”
