Cartwheel Arts Impact Report 2024–25
At Cartwheel Arts, we believe in Art for a Reason.
We are a participatory arts charity rooted in Heywood, Rochdale, working alongside diverse communities to co-create inclusive artistic opportunities that enhance wellbeing, celebrate culture, and honour heritage.
Our work is driven by three core programmes—Art for Wellbeing, Stronger Communities, and You Live & Learn—all underpinned by our commitments to Anti-Discrimination, Environmental Sustainability, and Digital Inclusion.
Between 2024 and 2025, we delivered 245 sessions, reaching over 4,300 people, with 5,300+ attendances.
We showcased participants’ creativity in five public exhibitions, and our work was seen by more than 18,000 people across exhibitions and public events.
Through 28 participatory projects, we engaged over 2,000 people—the vast majority in areas among the most deprived 10% nationally.
